Yesterday I met a Flickr friend at the Houston Arboretum at Memorial Park. I was so excited…shoot with a new friend and flower pictures….40 mins later I was a mosquito buffet. I am pretty sure every mosquito in all of Harris County was there eating me. I got three good shots. up only 3..

Ohhh, do I know this too well. My mother is a big nature lover so I took her there in June and we were devoured. We had to leave to get mosquito repellent. It was much better the second go round. Too bad because the swamp area looked like a really interesting area to photograph. Next time I’ll know. Long sleeves, long pants and OFF.
