you know i can’t seem to blog these days unless i blog through flickr..that means i also have to post a photo…so today you are graced with the worlds largest pecan…its in Seguin, Texas. That is were i spent last saturday. I went to shoot…and got some OUTSTANDING shots. and it was fun to hang out with my friend Dave.
So other news…I am going to release a bundle of Lightroom presets. They are like photoshop actions in a way but for lightroom. If you don’t knwo about lightroom..it is Adobe’s newst product for photographers…i rarely use photoshop anylonge…Lightroom is well worth the money!!!

As some of you know I used to design paper, and digital paper and elements. I decided to stop doing that and go back to school to study photography. Well BIG NEWS…I’M BACK!!! I’m designing mostley commercial use stuff for photographers, storyboards, actions, lightroom presets.

We had a nice Mother’s Day yeasterday. They are hard for me becasue I lost my Mom when I was 7, and well there is nothing I want more in the world than to be a Mom. But yeasterday not one of thoose thoughts creeped into my head.
Jason woke me up early so we could get to Galveston by sunrise and shoot the island is the nice morning glow. (what an awesome guy!) and went back to Jason’s mom’s house (were we had spent the night) and made Jason’s mom breakfast (and did the dishes). This was the 1st Mother’s day they spent together in a long time! I am so happy we could go see her! (she totally rocks as a mom and mother in law).
Came home and chilled..called my mom(step mom), left amessage. and called my birthmom (LOVE that i can call her!). It was a great day.

around here people refer to Galveston simply as “thje island”, because well it is. There is a ton of color and great old building there. Many survived the hurricane of 1900 (which i want to learn more about). I am really hoping to get out and shoot the island this weekend….and maybe some of the old cemetaries too.

thats me I LOVE magazines…I don’t even care what they are about..photography, cooking, travel, fashion, I don’t care. I love them. I love them for their photography. I’m not a smoker, but i just found Cigar Aficionado (this month is about Cuba..and I’m intrigued by the country I can’t visit). The photography in this magazine is STUNNING!!!!

I really try not to think things aren’t fair. My Aunt Darlene used to say "Fair is what you pay when you get on a bus". But that is all I could think yeasterday on my way home. I saw a woman (probaly younger than my 29 years) with 6 kids in the car. a small kids, maybe 3-4 in the FRONT SEAT!!! that isn’t the worst, there where kids sitting in other kids laps, and an baby (no older than 1) in the drivers lap!!!!! why can she have 6 kids, but i can’t have any and i know what a car seat is?!!??!
