Jason (my wonderful camera shy husband) bought me a new lens today. I needed it. It had become a need, more than a want…but i dind’t want to go into debt. He insisted (whom am I to argue?).
I am the new owner of a Canon 28-135 IS Macro lens….so far i love it..I’ll put it to the test later this week!

I like Ansel Adams work…beautiful black and whites. I’m just not a nature photographer…it woud require me to be in nature, with bugs and snakes. I am a city shooter, give me a building and some civilization and I’m a happy girl. With this being said, I live in a forrest (not kidding I live in Kingwood, Texas the city slogan is “the livable forest”…I’m assuming “the dead forest” didn’t pass the marketing department!) we have 75 miles of hiking trails…and we are trying to walk them! Its much more fn with you remeber your camera too!
