i usually leave to sports posts to Dawn, but I need to say this. I think coach Jerry is back. Who? what? when? where?? is this what you are asking….if so….please come back later for a new post. If you know anything about the Dallas Cowboys, please feel free to continue.

Jerry Jones (the owner of the Dallas Cowboys) has been known as a pushy “I wanna be coach too” kind of owner. The last 4 years have been bliss because Bill Parcel’s kept him in his place…the owner’s box. It takes a big pair of you know what to stand up the “the man” like that.

So fast forward to today. This morning rumors started flying that Wade Phillips, the defensive cordinator for (my other team) The San Deigo Chargers. WHAT!!?!?!? What happened to hiring Norv Turner, so Tony Romo can have the coaching that Troy Aikman did!?!!? Oh yeah Coach Jerry. Jones motto is “defense, defense, defense”. So he went and hired a defensive cordinator…great…..by the way Chan Gailey is the only offensive guy that he has named head coach…and he has the best record.

So my note to “Coach Jerry”…stay off the field.

a great article was written by Jim Reeves on MSNBC

The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, Betty Crocker, Sara Lee, the Hostess Twinkies and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered to be a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes – a recipe for financial disaster. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.”
