I seem to be writting about food a lot….sorry. We had BBQ for lunch today at Goode Co BBQ on the Katy Freeway in Houston. It has been featured on the food network and magazines. It lives up to the hype. The Austin Baked beans were yumm-o, they had apple in them.

prep time: 15 mins cook time: 45 mins
2 table spoons evoo
3 garlic cloves
16 oz frozen corn (thawed) (but it was still frozen)
1 lg russet potato (i used 2) peeled and chopped
1/2 tablespoon fajita seasoning blend
1 1/2 cups of fat free half and half
32 oz of chicken broth
8 oz of crab, fully cooked and chopped (I used 16oz)
1. heat a soup pot for 2 mins. add olive oil and garlic and stir fry for 1 min. add corn and stirfry for 4 or 5 mins or until liquid is soaked up. add potatos and stirfry for another min
2. season mixture with fajita blend. add half and half, and chicken broth and bring mixture toa boil over high heat. reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 15 mins. Stir in crab and cook 5 more mins.
* you could use chicken instead of crab

okay I admist i have picked at my nails for almost 30 years. I’m being really good right now and they are growing, so i treaded myself to some nail polish….i know they are dark…but they are stunning in person!
OPI Lincoln after Midnight. This is the most stunning dark plum color. it has a slight punk rock edge to it…Sharon I can totally see you and your sister wearing it!
